Another dish that claims to be fail-proof... If you boil water in a Pyrex dish on an Electric Burner, it may explode. The family I lived with in Alhambra did this and there were pieces of glass stuck in my bedroom door for a while. Turns out they can go in the oven, and even over fire I believe, but not on electric heat.
